Powelton Village Rowhouse
Powelton Village is a neighborhood in Philadelphia that includes Drexel University. It is a community of academics, students, artists, musicians and creative individuals. Warehouse space on Lancaster Avenue includes art spaces, dance groups, coffee shops and row houses. The Powelton Village Rowhouse project requirements is to design a row house that covers two empty lots on Lancaster Avenue. The design in progress includes elements that allow for natural light and cross ventilation. The diagonal roof and facade is designed to control light and provide privacy.
